The film blowing extruder is designed to produce plastic films of various thicknesses, widths, and lengths. The process involves melting plastic pellets or granules and then extruding the molten material through a die to form a bubble. The bubble is then cooled and flattened to produce a continuous flat film.
At its core, a blown film machine consists of an extruder, a die head, an air ring, and a cooling unit. The extruder melts the plastic material and pushes it through the die head, which shapes the material into a bubble. The air ring blows cool air onto the bubble to stabilize its shape, and the cooling unit cools the film down to its final thickness and width.
